When: Opening Reception: Wednesday, March 30, 2011 5-8pm
Show runs March 30-April 22, 2011

Where: iPrintfromHome.com/Campos Group
1016 Niagara Falls Blvd
Tonawanda, NY 14150

Artist’s Bio:
I have always enjoyed photography. For as long as I can remember, I have always been entranced by how professionals created such beautiful art!

Back in 2000 I entered a photo into the Kodak Y2K Digital Quilt and, surprisingly, I won one of the categories. From that moment on there was a fire in me that I could not put out. I had to learn everything I could about photography, and so my journey to becoming a professional began.

Over the course of 2 years, I learned all I could and experimented in different styles until I found a genre that I liked, and it happened to be portraiture. I have come to realize that I absolutely LOVE what I do. I love being able to have a family, or better yet a child, in my studio or to be on a location shoot and let them have fun in front of my camera! I try to build a relationship with my clients, to let them know that I value them as a person and as a client.

I have been published in Drum Magazine with a portrait of a local Buffalo Drummer Nick Mason and I have been published as well in The National Black Belt Magazine when I covered their 2009 Annual Grand Championship Tournament. Over the years I have helped out with different area photography organizations such as the Buffalo Photography Meetup Group and the Buffalo Modeling Meetup Group, both of which I was an assistant organizer. During this time I began to focus more on what I love to shoot and it became clear that it was families and children.

This brings me to the show that I am featuring at iPrintfromHome.com! I have yet to see another photographer in the WNY area that has done as many Tutu shoots as I have done and I aim to be the best in our area that I can be. So if you are looking to have your little princess dress up for me and have me capture her innocence and attitude to be remembered for a lifetime, or if you just want some memories of your family to be captured and shared with others, then please contact me at shelley@shelleykuhnphotography.com to set up an appointment for a studio or location shoot.

Drop Shipping Services

iPrintfromHome.com is pleased to offer drop shipping services so that you can send your orders directly to your clients. All you need to do is select “Drop ship to my client/friend” when you select your shipping address during the order placement process.

If you select to have your order drop shipped, your order will be shipped without an invoice or any promotional materials. We will also remove our company name from the return address and send your package in a plain mailer or box without any identifying markings.

For Photographic Prints, we typically include "backprinting" on the back of each print, which includes the name of your file (if the file name is not too long) as well as your iPrintfromHome.com order number. If you do not want backprinting on your prints, please send us an email immediately after your order has been placed to let us know and we will gladly accommodate your request.

We're always looking to improve our services and many of our improvements come as a direct result of customer requests. If you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd love to hear what you have to say.

iPrintfromHome.com is pleased to present Life on a Coral Reef, featuring photography by Mary Lou Frost.

Artist’s Bio:
I enjoyed photography as a hobby, in a rather casual way, for most of my adult life. After I turned 50 I became more adventurous and began scuba diving which led me to underwater photography, something I have enjoyed for 27 years.

During the past 10 years I have turned my attention almost fully to digital
photography. My images have been exhibited at the Buffalo Museum of Science, The Amherst Center for Senior Services and have received recognition in competition. In 2009, I received the Kodak Award for Photographic Excellence from the Niagara Frontier Regional Camera Clubs and the Dorothy Ralph Essay Trophy from the Science Museum Camera Club. I am currently president of the Science Museum Camera Club where I have made presentations on the techniques of digital photography.

I have become an instructor in photography for Elderhostel at sites in Utah and Colorado administered by the Pingree Park campus of Colorado State University. I am also presenting workshops in digital photography at the Amherst Senior Center and other sites in Western New York.

If you are interested in booking a workshop, please contact me at mfrost@roadrunner.com.

Love is in the Air - part 1

We couldn't be happier about the fact that you share your stories about your experiences with our company in your blog entries, on your Facebook pages and in your conversations with friends and family. Not only are you helping us help more people, but you're also allowing us to spend more of our time working on improving our products and services, rather than spending time & money on traditional advertising.

During the month of February, we like to take the opportunity to say "THANK YOU!" for all of your help and also to remind you of some of the programs we have in place to help facilitate the work you do to spread the word about us.

Starting with this one, we're going to send you an eNewsletter each week in February, highlighting different aspects of our "Thank You Dollars" program. First, we'd like to start out with a simple description of the program itself:

Thank You Dollars Program
At iPrintfromHome.com, we run a "Thank You Dollars" program where we award current customers iPrintfromHome account credit for referring new customers.

If you send us a new customer, you will earn $2 in "Thank You Dollars" when your friend creates an account at iPrintfromHome.com and enters your name in the "Referred by" entry box. You will receive another $10 when they place their first order. As you earn "Thank You Dollars," they will be automatically deposited into your account and you will receive notification by email. Basically, it boils down to $12 in account credit for each customer that you send to iPrintfromHome.com, which you can then apply towards future orders.

This program runs all the time and there are no limits to how many Thank You Dollars you can earn.

iPrintfromHome.com Ambassador Center
Once you start successfully referring customers, we'll send you an e-mail invitation to become an official iPrintfromHome.com Ambassador. As an Ambassador, you can take advantage of various tools we've made available to help you spread the word about iPrintfromHome.com and you'll get sneak peeks on promotions and new products. For more information about our Ambassadors Program, please click here.

As always, thank you for your support of iPrintfromHome.com! Thank you for your help spreading the word about our services. Keep your eyes peeled for part 2 and 3 of this eNewsletter series.

Thanks,
the iPrintfromHome.com team

New Paper Sampler and Calibration Kit

This past winter we introduced an updated version of our Paper Sampler and Calibration Kit. We've given out a bunch, but many of you are still working off the older version. If you would like to receive a new one, please click here to enter your request.

Our Paper Sampler and Calibration Kit serves two main purposes. I bet you already know what they are….

First, it’s a sample pack of the various papers that we use to make prints here at iPrintfromHome.com. We think it’s important for you to see an actual sample of the papers (and hold them in your hand and up to the light, etc.) so that you can get a good idea of which paper would best suit your purposes. This is the first time that we're including samples of the Canvas and Photo Inkjet Papers in the kit. We're excited to be able to show you a complete sampling of the various papers that are available.

We’ve also printed a Calibration Control Image on each sample piece of paper so that you can compare how the same image is reproduced by different papers and production processes. This should help you make your decision between the various types of papers.

The digital file that we used to print the Calibration Control Image on each piece of paper is also available for download on our website. This brings us to the second intended use for the Paper Sampler and Calibration Kit. After you download the Calibration Control Image, you will be able to compare the digital file that you see on your computer screen to the print you are holding in your hand. If the colors match, then you’re all set. If they don’t, then you’ll want to make some adjustments to your files or your monitor to ensure that your prints meet your expectations.

If you would like to receive a new Paper Sampler and Calibration Kit, please click here to enter your request. Please keep in mind that if the response is overwhelming, there may be delays. However, we will send your kit out as soon as possible.

As always, thank you for your continued support of iPrintfromHome.com!

Thanks,
the iPrintfromHome.com team

Happy New Year!

Each year, when we look back at what we've done the last 12 months and try to figure out what worked & what didn't, patterns emerge that help us focus our energies moving forward.

One of the most interesting projects we worked on in 2010 was the "What, How, Why" interview series. We asked fourteen artists & photographers 3 simple questions: (1) What do you do? (2) How do you do it? (3) Why do you use iPrintfromHome.com? The end result was a series of 14 mini profiles featuring a wide range of talented folks and some very cool imagery. Looking back at the individual stories, we keep finding ourselves thinking how lucky we are to have the opportunity to work with such interesting & talented people. If you missed any of the stories, or you'd like to take a second look, click here to read more.

Another big project that we worked on this year came about as a result of listening to and acting on your suggestions: we nearly doubled the size of our product offerings. In July 2009, we introduced a whole bunch of square sizes, panoramic sizes & some other non-standard sizes. We also started offering mounting and laminating services, which has been a great success. We still have a host of options that we'd like to make available and we're working on improving the ordering system constantly. There will be new additions & improvements to come in 2011. Keep your eyes out for our eNewsletters and please don't hesitate to contact us with your suggestions.

The pattern that we see emerging, both in the examples discussed above and other projects we work on daily, is a real focus on developing and supporting this community of artists and photographers that make up the iPrintfromHome.com family. We really love working with you. All of you, whether you spend your time behind cameras, in front of easels, or chasing your kids with your point-and-shoot in hand, all share something very special in common. You see beauty in the world and can't help but share it. We know that you have plenty of choice out there, and we're so happy that you choose to share your images with us.

From your loyalty and your support it is clear that you continue to understand the power of working with a team that is intent on helping you get exactly what you want. Thanks for giving us the opportunity and for trusting us with the process of imaging your imagination.

As much as we have enjoyed this last year, we feel like kids, bubbling with excitement, anticipating the year to come.

As always, thank you for your continued support of iPrintfromHome.com!

Happy New Year!

Thanks,
George, Sara & the iPrintfromHome.com team
